Izabela Filipiak

Izabela Filipiak is an author of several books of poetry, fiction and nonfiction; a former ISEES Visiting Scholar; a Kosciuszko Foundation and Iowa International Writers’ Workshop Fellow and BBRG Affiliated Scholar at the University of California-Berkeley, as well as a Yaddo artist-in-residence. She teaches in the English Department at Gdansk University, Poland. She is now artist-in-residence at Hawthornden Castle, Midlothian.
